#260: Daylight Savings Wimps

People that complain when DST begins or ends. It's really not that big a deal and it happens every year so people should have been able to deal with it by now. Severity: 1

I think Daylight Savings is totally dumb. We don't have it here in AZ, but the "clocks turned" while we were vacationing in California last week. So, like, our first day there, the sun went down at 5:30 p.m. (which is already earlier than when it goes down in Phx). Then, the next day, it went down at 4:30 p.m. Where's "the savings"? I literally spent a lot of valuable vacation time wasting thought on this.

Yeah, I actually can never remember where the savings occurs or if it supposed to occur in the morning or the evening. I think the recent change was the END of Daylight Savings, hence the getting dark earlier. But the ironic thing is that in the summer you already have more light so the savings is unnecessary.
