#402: Bad Chrome Spell Check for "tommorow"

I not sure why Chrome has such a problem with my common misspelling of "tomorrow."  I always do it with 2 m's and 1 r and constantly am pissed when you right click the word with the red squiggly error indicator, it does not give you the option of "tomorrow", even though it's quite obvious that is the most likely word you are trying to write.  Microsoft is smart enough to get this, so not sure why Google has issues.  Severity: 3

#401: URL Refuseniks

When I give someone the exact web site address and they still will type it into Google rather than directly into the web browser address bar, the inefficiency annoys me.  Severity: 2

#400: Iphone "Conversation" Commercials

I sickens me to see the delusional self grandeur the actors indulge in by conversing with "Siri" on their Iphone asking about the weather and closest past restaurants.  "Sequences Shortened" is a disclaimer at the bottom indicating the apparently seamless process is really not so.  The one with John Malkovich is particularly disgusting and sad.  Severity: 5

#399: Hershey's Air Delight

I'm appalled that this company would dare to advertise this product as something good, when in fact it's just a scam to reduce the amount of chocolate they use in the bar.  Already they have for years shrunk bars and skimped on chocolate of their candy bars by reducing the amount of coating and now they are trying to pass this thing off as a good thing?  Terrible.  Severity: 4

#398: IPO Low-ball Pricing

I hate when companies price their IPO lower than they could get on the market, just so they can have the "glory" of a big first day pop in the market.  The stupid thing is that the main point of the IPO is to raise money for the organization and pricing the shares lower than they could get just enriches their friend who buy at the lower price and then immediately sell.  Of course, the fat cat insiders don't care since they have their shares already and they are locked up for a while.  A first-day pop should be seen as a failure in that the company did not get all the funds it could have gotten.  The recent lowering of the IPO for the Carlyle Group is what get me going on this one (even though in this case, looks like they made the right decision to lower the price, but it's a common practice.  Severity: 2

#397: Dumb Breitling Commercial

This dumb ad is on every day on during the morning Bloomberg market show and I can't stand it.  So stupid.  I hate the music and the story is foolish.  Seems to have been made for a foreign audience maybe.  Or maybe some sub-class of airplane enthusiasts.  Severity: 3

#396: Car Commercials Focusing on the Gadgets

I was just appalled at a commercial for some car where the whole thing was this woman walking gingerly to her car after a marathon and in pain and she gets in and immediately turns some screen on and there's a text message on the gizmo on the dashboard from her mom congratulating her and all her pain goes away and she gets a big smile.  This is even lamer than the one where the guy surfs on his car gizmo to see his date he just dropped off has written a positive review of her night on some blog.  My beef is that people should not be buying cars based on stuff like that, but they must be if the companies are making ads the totally focus on them.  Severity: 3

Side Note: This commercial today was nearly as cheesy as the old McD commercial where a depressed mom is cheered up by her little boy saving his change to buy her a Big Mac on her birthday.

#395: "Really?" and "Seriously?"

Way too much use of this exclamation of incredulity with the pitch rising near the latter syllables.  Someone cool must have started using it and now I hear it way too much.  Severity: 2

#394: Opening to Bon Jovi's "Lay Your Hands on Me"

1:30 of stupid noises leading into a classic song. Every time it comes up on my random play, I wonder what the hell this crap is and why it's in my library.  Love the song, but wish they did away with the intro.  Severity: 1
