#226: TV Previews
Not only do I despise these at the end of shows or during commercials (rarely watched with DVR), but what makes me even more upset is that most people like them and talk about them. How can someone want to know a clue of what's going to happen in the next show? I want to go in fresh and that fact that other people actually desire to see these previews (and talk about them around me) makes me annoyed with society. It's just plain impatient to not be able to wait a week to find out what's going to happen. Severity: 4

Uh oh ... I'm guilty of this. I'm always eager to see the preview of next week's episode of 24. I can't get enough of that show.
Back before I turned into a DVD hermit, watching nothing more than A's games and DVD's of old Jack Webb TV shows from the 50's-70's (Dragnet, Adam-12, & Emergency), I used to watch this thing that they call live TV, and I do remember that at the time I did in fact enjoy watching the preview for next week's show, although I don't remember ever talking to anyone about it.
Fortunately, I am an understanding annoyed person and will allow for some violations of my rules. I have a feeling most people like previews from my informal surveying I've done on the topic.
You are too kind. :)
