During the pandemic, whenever stockpiling occurs, people are including bottled water in crazy amounts in their panic buying. This is despite there being no danger to the water supply from the virus so there is no reason for people wasting money and creating excess trash buy stocking up on this product, especially given people are not even going anywhere.
